Josef Pühringer (2009)

Dr Josef Pühringer (German pronunciation: [ˈjoːzɛf ˈpyʀɪŋɐ]) (born 30 October 1949, Traun) is an Austrian politician.

Since 2 March 1995 he has been the governor (Landeshauptmann) of Upper Austria. He is a member of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP).^[1]

He is a member of several Roman Catholic student fraternities that belong to the ÖCV and the MKV.
