Boone Township is one of nine townships in Boone County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2010 census, its population was 1,968 and it contained 721 housing units.[1]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of 24.03 square miles (62.2 km2), of which 23.94 square miles (62.0 km2) (or 99.63%) is land and 0.09 square miles (0.23 km2) (or 0.37%) is water.[1]
