Timea

Tímea, Timea or, originally, Timéa is a female given name which is popular mostly in Hungary and Hungarian-speaking regions such as parts of Transylvania (Romania) and Slovakia.

The name was created by the popular Hungarian author Mór Jókai for a figure in his 1872 novel Az arany ember (literally "The Golden Man", English title The Man with the Golden Touch). It is derived from Euthymia, a Greek noun meaning "sweet natured".
