Sergei Aslanyan (journalist)

Sergei Stepanovich Aslanyan (Russian: Серге́й Степанович Асланян, born 20 February 1966) is a Russian radio journalist. He works for Radio Mayak and previously spent 10 years at Ekho Moskvy. In May 2012, he was lured from his flat and stabbed twenty times by an assailant. The attack was reported internationally.[1] Aslanyan didn't die in the attack, but the assault has been linked to attacks and murders of other journalists in Russia over recent years.[1]
