SVCE Indore or SVGI Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India, Swami Vivekanand Group of Institutes was established in 2004 under the auspices of Swami Vivekanand Takniki Sansthan, Indore, to fulfill the demand of an ideal Technical, Pharmacy & Management institution.

SVGI, which has carved a special place rich in the field of education around Indore is not only approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi, the premier Central Regulatory Body but is also an affiliate to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal and Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore. It is duly recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh, spread over a scenic campus of over 25 acres land.

The institute offers 6 undergraduate and five postgraduate courses with an intake of 540 and 174 students respectively. At any time, there are approximately 2400 undergraduate students studying in the institute.

Admission

Admission to most of the undergraduate courses is through State Level Competitive Exams conducted by Vyapam. Pre-Pharmacy Test Result- 2011 Model Answer Pre-Engineering Test (P.E.T.) Result Exams are generally announced in June, and a new session is started by July or August.

In reality you can get admission anytime you want because most of the seats are always empty. Feel free to explore haunted campus anytime you want, filled with ghost of past student failures, and its true with every other private college of Indore.

Admission to Post Graduate Courses are also conducted through State Level Competitive Exams conducted by Madhya Pradesh Vyavsayik Pariksha Mandal (PRE-M.C.A.)and Country wide common test (GATE - Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, Master of Engineering)

Indore has daily flights from Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Jaipur, Ahemedabad, Lucknow, Gwalior, Nagpur, Pune and Bhopal.

Rail

Indore is connected by train on the central and southern railways.

It is well connected by road.

College bus

The college buses pick up students from the city, and from Dewas and Mhow.
