Modern City Montessori Intermediate College

Modern City Montessori Intermediate College[1] (MCMIC) is a pioneer institution providing education from K.G to 10+2 in Deoria[2] of India. The school is being operated in both Hindi and English Medium to serve the needs of society.

History

MCMIC[3] founded in 1988 by a group of able teachers with an aim to serve the country and society, by educating people under guidance and supervision of Surendra Tiwari (Chairperson), Girish Chandra Tiwari (Chairperson), Adhaya Prasad Tiwari (Principal) and Mithilesh Mishra (Senior Teacher). It was started in a rented building near Permarthi Pokhra at that time. Later on, It shifted to Nehru Nagar, New Colony Deoria to its own building. Initially, the school aimed to serve up to junior high school. In 1997, the school started its High School program which again expended in 2004 by starting Intermediate program. In 2010 the school started its English Medium program up to primary school in a new building which extended in 2011 to the junior high school.

Academics

The school is co-educational, open to both boys and girls from Kindergarten to Intermediate in Hindi Medium (U.P.Board) and from Kindergarten to junior high in English medium. School organizes various extracurricular activities such debets, GS/GK Competitions, Science exhibitions, Poem Competition, Gaming events, cultural events time to time to grow a student into better personalities. For Board examination school arranges extra- classes to improve student's understanding about subjects. To test student's ability, there are various examination such as class test, 2-Months test (held on every two months), Half yearly examination( held once after half of academic session) and Yearly examination for those who are not appearing in the board examinations( Once after the end of the session). School has vary balanced ecosystem of very experienced teachers (35–40 years), experience teachers (10–20 years) and young and dynamic teachers for shaping a student's personalities. School has a separate coaching system for those who requires extra attention.

Campus

School has two huge buildings one in Nehru Nagar which operates in Hindi medium and other one is New colony which operates in English medium. School has hostel for those students who wants to live in under guidance of the school. Hostel provides fooding and lodging also some of the teachers stays 24×7 with the students to guide them whenever they need.

Academic Achievements

In almost three decades, the college has successfully achieve to transform thousands of young students to responsible citizens of the country with a glorious careers such as medical professionals, engineers, civil servants, teachers, law professionals, bank professionals, businessmen, etc. School has hundred percent result every year and has given many district toppers. The school is almost always in newspapers for its initiatives and activities. The school has been visited various times by Government officials and MP/MLA's to share their views and lectures.There are numerous example of school and government's mutual cooperation for benefit of society.

Scholarship

School has various scholarship program to help students who can't afford education. School works with this vision that no one should left uneducated.
