Michael Blouin is a Canadian writer. His debut novel Chase and Haven was a shortlisted nominee for the amazon.ca First Novel Award in 2008[1] and won the ReLit Award for fiction in 2009,[2] and his poetry collection Wore Down Trust won the Archibald Lampman Award in 2012.[3]

Originally from Morrisburg, Ontario,[3] Blouin is a high school English and drama teacher in Kemptville.[3]

His future works in progress include novels titled Skin House, Legend and This Book Will Kill You.
