Megaton Rainfall is an upcoming action video game developed by Pentadimensional Games for the PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows.

Plot

The plot revolves around an interdimensional superhero tasked to save the world from an alien invasion.[1]

Gameplay

Magaton Rainfall is an open world, action game played from a first person perspective. The player character can not die, but cities can; players must protect cities from the alien hordes while avoiding collateral damage. Players has the ability to fly at supersonic speed even outside the atmosphere. It can be played using PlayStation VR. The player can use several attacks to destroy environments such as surrounding buildings. The enemies will have their weak spots marked by red lights.[2] The player will be able to fly around other planets as well to find cities and missions.[1] The player will have the ability to go to mach 10 in 5 seconds.[3] The game features fully destructible environments, buildings are procedurally generated and destructible .[4]

Development

The game was featured at the 2015 Independent Game Festival in California.[3] The game has been in development by one man for over three years.[5] The game will likely be self-published.[6]
