Mahindra Mutual Fund (MMF) is one of India’s leading Asset Management Companies headquartered in Mumbai, India.

Mahindra Mutual Fund has been constituted as a trust in accordance with the provisions of the Indian Trusts Act, 1882, as per the terms of the trust deed between the Mahindra and Mahindra Financial Services Limited as the Sponsor and Mahindra Trustee Company Private Limited, as the Trustee.

Mahindra Asset Management Company Private Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 1956, is the Investment Manager for Mahindra Mutual Fund. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Mahindra and Mahindra Financial Services Limited (MMFSL).

Mahindra Mutual Fund endeavors to offer a variety of mutual fund schemes pan India, with special focus in rural and semi-urban areas. [1] [2]

History

According to the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) website, Mahindra Finance had applied for a mutual fund licence on 30 December 2008 and was given an in-principle approval on 4 October 2011. Mahindra Mutual Fund was registered with SEBI on 4/2/2016.[3]
