Lviv Metro

The Lvív Metro (Ukrainian: Львівський метрополітен) is a rapid transit system that was planned in the city of Lviv in western Ukraine during the 1980s. During the early 2000s, the project was changed to utilize light-rail transport instead.[1]

"Lviv Metro" is also a grotesque Internet meme that mocks Russian chauvinism and Ukraine-phobia. According to legend, it was built during the Nazi occupation of the city during the Second World War and is a place of tortures.
