3 Elio Motors Low-cost, high mileage vehicle Independent Ongoing - $102,000,000 Elio Motors is designing a three-wheel vehicle that the company says will get up to 84 MPG.[6] In October 2016, the company said it had received over 60,000 reservations.[7] Their goal is to reach 65,000 reservations, and until they reach their goal, early adopters are able to reserve one of the vehicles for a locked price of $7,000.[8][7] The company has said that, after reaching their goal, the vehicle's base price will be $7,300.[7]
