In 2016, the committee decided to refer the nomination again after received concern from Myanmar Government on unclear border demarcation between Thailand and Myanmar on the western site of Kaeng Krachan National Park.
Thai Government nominated Phu Phra Bat Historical Park in 2016, but decided to withdraw after received recommendation from ICOMOS to redraft the nomination dossier.
