Lenore Lonergan (2 June 1928 – 17 August 1987) was a stage and film actress during the 1930s and 1940s. She came from a long line of actors, her paternal grandfather, Lester Lonergan (1869-1931) was an Irish born actor, her father, Lester Lonergan, Jr. (1893-1959) was an renowned actor. Her mother, Julia Mary (Juliet) McIntyre-Lonergan (1889-1942) was the daughter of Hector McIntyre and Julia Fennell of Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada was also an actress and opera singer that trained at New England Conservatory of Music, there was a floor to ceiling portrait of her as Juliet Capulet from Romeo and Juliet that hung in their apartment at 58 West 58th Street in New York City. As well, her brother, Lester (Lessi) Lonergan was also an actor. She made her stage debut at the age of 6, in Mother Lode, starring Melvyn Douglas. Miss Lonergan also played juvenile roles in Junior Miss, by Jerome Chodorov and Joseph Fields, and in Dear Ruth, by Norman Krasna. She appeared in Crime Marches On, Fields Beyond, and in the film Tom, Dick and Harry, among others.
