Kesamudram is a mandal in Warangal district of the Indian state of Telangana. It is located in Kesamudram mandal.[1]

Etymology

Kesamudram derived its name from the local words Kesari (=lion) and Mudram (=foot print). Hence, the name Kesamudram meaning Footprint of Lion.

Geography

Kesamudram is located at 45 km from Warangal. Agricultural Market is one of the biggest markets in the state. The income of the market Rs.6 crors per annum. Kesamudram Market is famous for turmeric. [2]
