Jessalyn Wanlim (born September 3, 1982) is a Canadian actress and model. She first appeared as Rachael in the television series All My Children in 2006. She is also known for her recurring role in Scoundrels as Patty Hong within 5 episodes. Wanlim plays as a comedian in many stage roles.[1]

Early life and career beginnings

Wanlim was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Her mother is a Filipino-Canadian who worked as an OFW and then migrated in Canada due to marriage with Jessalyn’s father, a man of Chinese American descent. She currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.

Wanlim started singing in music school, then become a stage actress in her high school’s art course. She began acting and became known for her role as Rachael in the television series All My Children. Wanlim appeared in over 50 episodes of the series beginning in July 2006.[2] During her time on All My Children, Wanlim also appeared as Pauletta Cho in 3 episodes of Gossip Girl. Wanlim has also had several minor and major roles in other television shows, as well as films.
