James Ohio Pattie

James Ohio Pattie (c. 1804 - c. 1851) was an American frontiersman and author from Kentucky. He did most of his work with his father, Sylvester Pattie. The books written about him and his work were "American Ecclesiastes", by Richard Batman and " The Personal Narrative of James O. Pattie of Kentucky" Some of it was trapping beaver.[1] In 1831, Pattie collaborated with Timothy Flint to publish The Personal Narrative of James O. Pattie of Kentucky, which described his travels through what is now the Western United States and Mexico.[1]
