Isaac Shaahu

Isaac Shaahu is a Nigerian politician from what is termed the middle belt of Nigeria. He was a cabinet minister in the aborted second republic. He later became Chairman of the Middle Belt Forum.[1]

Shaahu was an associate of Joseph Tarka,[2] and in 1967, he was appointed a commissioner for Agriculture and Natural resources in Benue-Plateau State under the administration of Joseph Gomwalk. During the Nigerian First Republic, he was a member of the Northern Nigeria Regional Assembly under the platform of Tarka's United Middle Belt Congress.[3]
