The Immaculate Conception Cathedral[1] (Chinese: 聖母無原罪主教座堂) is the name given to a religious building of the Catholic church[2] that is located in the Datong district of Taipei city[3] on the island of Taiwan.

The temple follows the Roman or Latin rite and serves as the headquarters of the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Taipei (Archidioecesis Taipehensis; 天主教台北總教區) that was created by Pope Pius XII with the Bull "Gravia illa Christi".

The original building was built in 1889[4] but was destroyed in a raid in the city. Between 1911 and 1914 a new church was built in Gothic style. In 1945 during World War II the church was bombed and was replaced by a simple temple. In 1959 its reconstruction which ended in May 1961. All the Mass began and religious services are offered in Mandarin Chinese.
