The Immaculate Conception Cathedral [1] (Spanish: Catedral de la Inmaculada Concepción)[2] also called Córdoba Cathedral It is the main Catholic church in the city of Córdoba[3] in the state of Veracruz in Mexico.[4] It was built in the first half of the seventeenth century. It is also headquarters of the Diocese of Córdoba and is dedicated to the Virgin of the Immaculate Conception, also the temple was known as the Immaculate Conception, it is located opposite the Plaza de Armas in the historic center of the city and its bells are made coppery iron which were brought from Mexico city.

Besides the cathedral it is a fine example of historic architecture of the city, along with former casino Spanish, the Municipal Palace, the portals of Zevallos and Gloria and the other churches as the convent of San Antonio and the former convent Santa Rosa de Lima addition to the temples of San José, San Sebástian and San Miguel Arcángel.
