George Beresford (priest)

Not to be confused with his first cousin George Beresford (bishop), Bishop of Clonfert and Kilmacduagh, of Kilmore and of Kilmore and Ardagh.

George de la Poer Beresford was Provost of Tuam from 1816[1] until his death at Bundoran in September 1842:[2] the revenue was then suspended by the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland and the Privy Council of Ireland.[3]
