From Scratch are a New Zealand performance and recording group that use homemade (from scratch) rhythms and instruments. They performed from 1972 to 2002 with an ever-changing lineup, though principally led by Philip Dadson. Their last work was the piece Pacific Plate, performed in New Zealand, Austria and Australia between 2000 and 2002.

Gung Ho literally means to 'work together'.[1] It was performed with the PVC pipe and chime bar instruments arranged in the actual Chinese ideogram for the term Gung Ho.
