Frankfurt mafia

Frankfurt mafia[1] is an criminal group mostly from the little town of Veles, Macedonia that was involved in activities in Frankfurt,[2] Germany and Vienna, Austria regarding heroin trade.[3] It is a part of Macedonian mafia.

One of the ways to become a member of the organization from Veles is as follows: People who are interested in becoming a member first go to Bulgaria and get a Bulgarian passport, then they start to ask around on how to get to Frankfurt, there is a large network of the organization in the little town of Veles, the regruters chose who they want to work with and they contact them, usually for dealing drugs. Then you have training, if you pass the training they sent you to Frankfurt to work for them. Boris Rhein, Hessen interior minister stated that Frankfurt mafia held about 90% of the trade for a couple of years.[4]

"I believe this is the biggest-ever hit that we've carried out in Austria and neighboring countries," he said. "It concerns a very dangerous group - with effective structures - well organized." According to police, the Frankfurt Mafia was able to penetrate the market so quickly by selling high-quality heroin at what was described as a reasonable price. Their profit in Vienna alone was estimated at 80,000 euros ($105,000) a day.[6]

Frankfurt mafia controlled 19 out of 24 blocks in Vienna's drug trade using intelligence methods.[7]

The traffickers had taken control of the heroin trade in Vienna in a short period of time. We noticed that this organisation was so good that it was able to replace large quantities of high-quality heroin within days, Austrian security official Franz Lang told reporters.[8]

Im Rahmen einer Operation mit dem Titel "Fire Alarm" ist in Mazedonien ein Polizeischlag gegen eine Organisation erfolgt, die den Schwarzmarkt in Wien und Frankfurt sowie anderen europäischen Städten mit Heroin versorgt hat.[9]
