Distinguished Philatelist Award

The Distinguished Philatelist Award is given by the U.S. Philatelic Classics Society for "Exceptionally Meritorious Service to U. S. Philately through Published Research, Award-winning Collections, Active Participation in the Organization & Promotion of Philatelic Exhibitions, & Sustained Administrative Service to the National or International Organizations which furthered United States Philately." [1]

Past winners have included Robson Lowe, Herman Herst Jr., Thomas F. Allen, W. Wilson Hulme II and Robert E. Lamb.
