Dialgam is a village situated in Anantnag tehsil, in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. It is one of 105 villages in Anantnag Block along with villages like Hardu Shichan, Pal Pora and Fatehpora.

Geography

Dialgam is located at 33°43' N 75°9' E, [2] at an elevation of 5,300 feet (1,600 m) above sea level, at a distance of 65 kilometres (40 mi) from Srinagar.

Demographics

As of 2011 India census,[1] Dialgam had a population of 6,737. Males constituted 51% of the population and females 49%. Dialgam had an average literacy rate of 99%, higher than the national average of 68.5%: male literacy was 99%, and female literacy was 98%. In Dialgam, 17% of the population was under 6 years of age.
