Byford railway station is located on the South Western Railway in Western Australia. It serves the south-eastern Perth suburb of Byford.
History
The original Byford station was the terminus for selected services from Perth. It closed in the 1970s, being demolished in the 1980s.[1]
In 2000, a new station was built, and today is a calling point for The Australind.[1][2][3]
It has been proposed that Transperth's Armadale Line service be extended to a new station in Byford.[4][5]
