Barnaby George "Barns" Courtney is an English singer, songwriter and musician.

Early life and career

Courtney was born in Ipswich, England. He and his family moved to Seattle when he was 4.[6] He returned to the United Kingdom when he was 15.[7] Courtney previously led the British indie band called SleeperCell & fronted the Indie/Punk band Dive Bella Dive. He then pursued a career as a singer/songwriter and opened for artists such as Carl Barât, Ed Sheeran, and Tom Odell.[8] In 2015, he released his first track as a solo artist, "Glitter and Gold" which received radio play on BBC Introducing Suffolk and by BBC Radio 1's Phil Taggert.[9] In the same year, his song "Fire" was featured in the movie "Burnt" and went on to receive airplay on American rock radio in 2016. Courtney is currently working on his first full-length album.[10]
