Auctorati
Auctorati is a term referring to individuals of Ancient Rome, who were classified as free-men, and who hired themselves out as gladiators.[1]
According to one source, the earliest evidence of the use of auctorati dates from 122 A.D. (law of Gaius Gracchus) [2]
