Andrew Hemingway

Andrew Hemingway is an artist that was born in Yorkshire England. He studied at the Barnsley school of Art and at Camberwell. Later he traveled to various places, which influenced his painting, as he painted in various places along his travels, such as Italy, Norway and Japan. in 1975 he got a painting accepted into the Royal Academy. This opened up the opportunity for him to have regular showings of his painting at places like that “Piccadilly Gallery”, and various showings in London, as well as throughout England.

His work represents domestic interiors and still life art. These pieces are influenced from the Dutch Old Masters series. It has been said that his work “reflects the beauty and fragility of everyday life”
