An Essay upon the Cultivation of the Lands, and Improvements of the Revenues, of Bengal

An Essay upon the Cultivation of the Lands, and Improvements of the Revenues, of Bengal is a 1772 essay written by Henry Patullo, a British company official in India.[1] It is most noted for containing his comments regarding the economic resources of Bengal. Patullo stated that the demand for Bengal textile manufactures in the world markets could never reduce because no other country produced textiles that could rival the Indian textiles in quality.[2][3]
