The Aishiyeh massacre was a massacre of around 70 Lebanese civilians, including at least 7 under the age of 16, in the village of Aishiyeh by Fatah and Saika; Four people were executed and one was burned alive.[1] Yasser Arafat has been accused of personally ordering the massacre, along with massacres in Damour, Beit Mellat, and Tall Abbas.[2]

Similarly, the town was attacked again on November 5th, 1977, killing 41 people,[3] and shelled in 1986, causing heavy damage without any reported casualties.[4]
