Aeryon Labs is a Canadian developer and manufacturer of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. Founded in 2007, it is based in Waterloo, Ontario. In 2011 the company provided a Scout UAV to the Free Libyan Air Force.[1]

Products

Aeryon Labs' UAVs have a field interchangeable payload interface to support multiple payloads. All imaging payloads are stabilized and include high resolution stills,[2] optical zoom video,[3] thermal Imaging,[4] HD video,[3] and dual EO/IR video/still camera.[5] The company's UAVs are:

Awards

David Kroetsch and Michael Peasgood of Aeryon Labs won the Canadian Aeronautics and Space Institute's 2012 Trans-Canada Trophy. The oldest aviation award in Canada (established in 1927), the Trophy is awarded for outstanding achievement in aviation.[8]
