A R Narayanan

A R Narayanan (1910–1993) acted as personal assistant to Sahodaran Ayyappan when the latter was a minister in Kerala, India.

Narayanan was an alumnus of Presidency College with a masters (with honours) in English. He hailed from Muttichur village in Thrissur District. Although he was from an aristocratic background from Arakkal clan, he was deeply influenced by the various social reformers of his era and donated most of his land among the poor in his village. He worked with the Police department in Kerala. He is survived by his daughters Mini Manoharan (Retd Principal Kendriya Vidyalaya(Central Government School, India; Wife of K.A. Manoharan),Vasanthi Radhakrishan(Retd Joint Secretary, Kerala Govt;Wife of R.Radhakrishnan), Santha Jaganathan (Wife of KK Jaganathan, Vice president, DNATA, UAE).
