Vijay Singh Chauhan (born 21 January 1949)[1] is a former Indian athlete who won gold medal in decathlon in 1974 Asian Games. He participated in 1972 Olympics. He was born in 1949 in AgraUttar Pradesh state. He was honoured with Arjuna award.He is Married to Sheela Chauhan He has 2 sons and 1 daughter namely Ajai Singh Chauhan,Vikram Singh Chauhan,and Niharika. Ajai is Married to Nidhi Singh, Ajai has a son named Apradhwaj Singh Chauhan and a daughter named Aarushi Singh . Vikram's wife's name is Chitra. Vikram has a daughter named Vidushi Singh Chauhan and a son named Aditya Singh Chauhan, He has been Awarded Yash Bharti for his outstanding contribution to Sports(Highest Civilian Honour of Uttar Pradesh ) on 21/03/2016
