Biography

Boris Shcherbakov was born in Leningrad (Vasilevsky Island) in December 11, 1949 to a family chauffeur and plant worker.

Shcherbakov family consisted of five people, which lived in a sixteen-meter communal flat in Opochinin's street on Vasilyevsky Island. The room window looked out onto the Gulf of Finland, to which were ships, and Boris dreamed of what it would be like to become a captain and travel.[3]

He graduated from the Moscow Art Theatre School (Pavel Massalsky course), and now has 12 years experience acting in movies. From 1972 to 2003 he acted at the Moscow Art Theatre.

In 1997 he starred in music videos of singer Lyubov Uspenskaya.[2]

From December 2007 to May 27, 2014 was one of the leading permanent of the TV program Good Morning on Channel One Russia.[2] Since September 2015 he has been working for the channel Zvezda.
